Tacos El Poblano

As you leave Loreto heading North through Miramar you'll  pass several taco stands, taco trucks and a few small restaurants. One that stands out is the brightly lit and often crowded, Tacos El Poblano Being a favorite of the locals is always a good sign. . Eight of us stopped by and were able to get a table. As we sat we were greeted by several of the many waiters and cooks. A waitress quickly brought us three plates of  radishes and roasted Jalepeno peppers and asked if we'd like drinks. They serve just juices and sodas, so Ken went to the tienda next door for a couple of six packs of beer and Rosie and DeeDee opened a bottle of wine, and Peter brought out his flask of Tequila! We then ordered tacos, quesedillas, some with carne asada and lots with pastor. Pastor is verticle spit roasted pork, marinated with chilis, onions, achiote, and sometime pineapple. It is really good! The tacos come with your choice of toppings, most of us went for everything, they also bring bowls of sauteed onions, yum. They  have tostados, burritos and beans. The food was served quickly and was hot. Just a note, you may want to choose a table away from the cooking area as the exhaust fan is pretty loud when it comes on. All in all, just a great, fun place for some really good tacos!
