Eating out healthy in Loreto is not always easy, so it is really nice to see many of our restaurants offering smoothies, fruit plates and vegetarian options. And now we have a fully Vegan choice as well. Waicura offers delicious whole grain waffles topped with fruit and other healthy toppings. They also offer a nice selection of tacos, burritos, burgers and hot dogs with imaginative choices such as garbanzo beans, lentils, soy chorizo, papas and more. Beverages include smoothies, fresh squeezed lemonada, orange juice and more.
Andreas and Armando are gracious hosts, speak very good English and are excited to share their food creations with you. For those of you who have never tried real vegan cooking, you will be pleasantly surprised at how tasty and flavor filled the food is. They are open Monday thru Saturday 9-9.
